Six diesel emission standards will be implemented on January

China Commercial Vehicle Network recently learned from the website of MEP on the requirements of "Requirements for National Environmental Protection Standards" emission limits and measurement methods of compression ignition, gas-fired ignition engines and automobile exhaust pollutants (China's sixth phase) ( Draft) "Opinion letter" released, the Ministry of Environmental Protection formally on the six diesel emission regulations to business units for advice.
"Draft for Soliciting Opinions" clearly states: "As of January 1, 2019, all new type engines and new types of vehicles that are type tested shall meet the requirements of this standard." "Since January 1, 2020, The new car required by the standard shall not be manufactured, sold or registered, nor shall the new engine which meets the requirements of this standard be manufactured, sold or put into operation. "That is, the sixth emission standard for diesel vehicles shall be fully implemented on January 1, 2020.
"The draft" states: "This standard specifies the emission limits and test methods for gaseous and particulate pollutants emitted by compression-ignition motor vehicles (compression ignition engines, ie diesel engines) and their compression-ignition engines ; And emission limits and measurement methods for gaseous pollutants emitted from spark ignition engines and their ignition engines fitted with natural gas (NG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). "
At the same time, "This standard applies to the type of inspection of the compression ignition (gas-containing fuel-ignited) engine and its vehicles for M1, M2, N1, N2 and all M3 and N3 vehicles with a reference mass of more than 2610kg, Vehicle emissions supervision and inspection and in-car compliance check. "
(M1 car refers to the passenger car, including the driver's seat, the number of seats does not exceed nine; M2 car refers to the driver's seat, including more than nine seats, and the maximum total design mass does not exceed 5000kg passenger vehicles ; M3 car refers to the driver's seat, including more than nine seats, and the maximum total design mass of more than 5000kg passenger vehicles; N1 car refers to the maximum design of the total mass does not exceed 3500kg of the truck; N2 car refers to the largest Design trucks with a gross mass exceeding 3500 kg but not exceeding 12000 kg; Class N3 vehicles with a maximum design mass exceeding 12000 kg.
Should be required by the manufacturer, according to the standard vehicle type inspection can be extended to the baseline quality of more than 2380kg deformation, modified vehicles. If the total mass of a compression-ignition (including gas-ignited) engine does not exceed 3.5t, the M1, M2 and N1 vehicles have been type tested according to GB 18352.X-201X, and the type test may not be carried out according to this standard. Vehicles of type M1, M2, N1 and N2 equipped with compression ignited (gas-ignited) engine with a reference mass not exceeding 2840 kg have been type tested in accordance with the provisions of GB 18352.X-201X, the engine may or may not According to this standard type test.
According to the previous policies and regulations, the emission standard for heavy diesel vehicles will be fully implemented from July 1, 2017, and the emission standards for light diesel vehicles will be fully implemented from January 1, 2018. Now, the six emission standards for diesel vehicles (draft) released, I believe commercial vehicle companies and consumers to make preparations for it!
